I Need to Move
Micro Moves
Need transportation, equipment, and logistics without hiring a traditional full-service moving crew?
You Load. We Haul.
Northern Virginia
You do what you can. Gateway brings the truck, equipment, transportation, and logistics to help you finish the job.
Whether you’re moving, clearing things out, getting something from here to there, or looking for a better alternative to cardboard boxes, you don’t have to do it all yourself—or pay for a full-service crew.

The Last Mile
Maybe you can pack everything yourself.
Maybe you’ve got friends or family who can help load.
Maybe you can stage everything you want gone in the garage.
Maybe you found the perfect piece of furniture—you just don’t have a way to get it home.
You’re willing and able to handle part of the job. You’re just missing the truck, trailer, equipment, transportation, or logistics needed to finish it.
That’s the last mile. And that’s where Gateway comes in.

The Gateway Way
Gateway is built around partnership. You take care of the parts that make sense for you, and we bring the transportation, equipment, and logistics you don’t have—so you’re never paying someone to do the parts you can already handle.

Where Gateway Fits
Gateway isn’t the right answer for every job. Here’s an honest way to tell.
Do Everything Yourself
A good fit if you already have the vehicle, the equipment, the helping hands, and the time to coordinate everything.
The Gateway Way
A good fit if you:
Full Service
A good fit if you need someone else to handle virtually everything, including the labor.
Sometimes full service is exactly what you need. Sometimes it isn’t.
Gateway gives you another option.
How It Works
Describe the situation. You don't need to figure out which service you need first.
Gateway determines what you can handle, what we need to handle, and whether the job fits the Gateway model.
You know the responsibilities, expectations, timing, and price before the job begins.
You handle your part. Gateway handles ours.
No guessing about who’s responsible for what.
Why Gateway
Know what's included, what's not, and who's responsible for what.
We believe showing up when promised is part of the service.
You shouldn’t have to pay for help with parts of the job you can reasonably handle yourself.
Not every job requires a crew moving throughout your house.
Gateway is a local residential business built around reputation, relationships, and referrals.
Why Gateway Exists
When I needed help with my own move, I found myself stuck between two choices: do everything myself or hire a traditional full-service moving company. I could handle parts of the job. I just needed the right help with the parts I couldn’t reasonably handle myself.
I found a different way to get it done—and realized other homeowners were probably facing the same problem.
That’s the gap Gateway was built to fill.
Service Area
Gateway is based around Prince William County and serves residential customers throughout the surrounding region, including Fairfax, Loudoun, Fauquier, and Stafford counties. Service availability can depend on the job, service, and distance involved.
