Gateway provides residential moving, hauling, junk removal, and reusable moving-bin solutions throughout Prince William County and surrounding Northern Virginia communities, including Fairfax, Loudoun, Fauquier, and Stafford counties.

Our service area isn’t a hard line on a map. Some Gateway jobs stay right here in Prince William County. Others may start nearby and take us farther across Northern Virginia — or beyond — depending on the service. That’s why we look at what you’re trying to get done, where the job starts, where it ends, and the Gateway solution you need.
Distance & Mileage
Where you’re located matters, but it doesn’t affect every Gateway service the same way. Depending on the service and the distance involved, additional mileage charges may apply. Each Gateway service handles mileage a little differently, so we review the locations involved before you commit and let you know whether additional mileage applies.
Your move starts in our service area.
Gateway Micro Moves are designed for moves that begin within our Northern Virginia service area. From there, your destination can take you farther away. The first 30 move miles, measured from your first pickup location to your final delivery location, are included. Additional move miles are $1 per mile.
Location and disposal logistics both matter.
Gateway provides Junk Removal throughout our service area. Because disposal and donation options can vary depending on where you’re located and what needs to be removed, we’ll review the job and location before confirming service. Your quoted price will reflect the job we’re agreeing to complete.
We look at the entire trip.
Standard Local Hauling includes the first 30 total Gateway trip miles, measured from: Gateway Departure → Pickup → Delivery → Gateway Return. Additional mileage beyond the included 30 miles is $1 per mile. This is different from Micro Moves because Local Hauling pricing considers Gateway’s complete transportation route.
Delivery and pickup are separate trips.
Gateway delivers the bins to you and returns to retrieve them when you’re finished. The first 30 miles are included on each trip. When a delivery or pickup requires travel beyond that included distance, additional mileage is $1 per mile. We review your location before confirming the rental so you know whether mileage charges apply.
